i embrace my femininity.
and i celebrate my strength.
but there are women in this world who never know what this means. there are girls who miss out on any chance to frolic…and they miss out on any chance to choose their own life path.
please watch this video:
as a woman, and a mama to a young daughter, this really makes me stop and think.
from the girl effect website: “There are 600 million adolescent girls living in poverty in the developing world. By giving one of these girls a chance, you start the girl effect. When girls have safe places to meet, education, legal protection, health care, and access to training and job skills, they can thrive. And if they thrive, everyone around them thrives, too.”
bloggers are posting this week to promote the girl effect…look here if you’d like to add your voice.
