love

on this day…valentine’s day…people exchange notes and gifts of love.  my question for you is this…what if we exchanged notes of love every day?  not just on february 14, but on the 15th and 16th and 17th, on june 30, and august 2?  {you get the idea}

bella posted this challenge over at 52 photo projects for the weekend.  and amanda has been sharing and loving with this and this and this.  i am loving these ideas.  downright inspiring.

i made the little notes above this past weekend and i left them for someone to discover…on the keyboard of a barnes and noble store search computer; taped to a box of tea and tucked into some flowers at the grocery store.

inspired by amanda’s printable sheets {which i linked above}, i designed one of my own, which i hung at the community bulletin board at the grocery store as well as the board at starbucks.

i can’t tell you how much fun it was to leave these little messages of love out and about.  i’ve got an envelope full of the little notes tucked into my bag for future drop-offs.  i realize this might not be everyone’s cup of tea.  but if i can make just one person smile, it is worth it.  once i figure out how to link up a PDF file, maybe i’ll put up this little poster for you to download and hang somewhere in your community {or visit the links to amanda’s printables above}.
