this past weekend my in-laws were visiting and we took a little drive into washington, d.c. to soak in some urban beauty. it’s cherry blossom time!
the morning was grey, as rain was forecasted for the day. and as pretty as the blossoms can be against a blue sky, they were still gorgeous against the grey one that day. softer maybe…
the rain held off until we were heading home. the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. beauty seen, appreciated, and captured in a few shots. {okay, i took more than a few…}
but what’s a girl to do with a camera in hand and all these blossoms around? {okay, two cameras…canon and iPhone…these shots are from my canon, but i wanted to share on instagram too!}
so there it is.
whether outside your door or on your kitchen table, i hope there are blossoms in your world these days…
sending a little love your way, m
sososoooo gorgeous.
somehow the cherry blossoms here just aren’t as vivid.
So fluffy and beautiful…I haven’t had the chance to get up close and personal with any pink blossoms yet. Hopefully soon! xo
oooh, get to those pink blossoms…with your new camera!!!
I plan to tomorrow. It unfortunately was too rainy today. :(
