taking some time to reflect upon my week…
:: not technically from this week, but i must thank those of you who left me comments wishing me a happy break. i didn’t expect any comments on this post and, boy, did they make me smile *big*…thanks for your love notes
:: loving our family’s time at the beach but appreciating how good it feels to settle back into home and our rhythms
:: serious zucchini growth in the garden…so much more fun to chop and sautee when it’s come from the backyard garden
:: pulling weeds…and more weeds {yes, i know i just mentioned my weed situation yesterday, but it bears noting again…}

I was a able to go visit some buddhist temples and one of my favorite dear Lamas…. Very precious moments for me this week.

Beach time is my favorite time, and we were lucky to all be together this past May is SC. I hope next year we will be lucky too. Your salad looks refreshing -and locally grown an added plus. We are waiting on ours to produce still. Have a lovely weekend!
