i am grateful.
:: first thing in the morning, house still dark…the kids and i snuggle on the sofa with hot chocolate in our hands
:: trees in the yard for climbing…the tree climbing club {TCC} was recently instated
:: making art with the kids
:: stumbling upon words yesterday that pluck at the strings of my heart…i found them/they found me just when i need them most…“i’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life – and i’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing i wanted to do” – georgia o’keeffe

Love your gratitudes here and during the week. Tree climbing club sounds kind of awesome and I love that Georgia O’Keeffe quote. Appropriate for me too!
Thank you so much for hosting this gratitude week, it was just the motivation I needed to get out my gratitude journal again. Here’s today’s post on it:

tree climbing trees! That is something that I loved as a child! Today I’m joining in because I have loved reading everyone’s gratitude lists.

Snuggling on the couch with your babies sounds like a perfect way to spend the morning, I miss those days.
Beautiful words by O’Keeffe, and one’s I think touch a lot souls.
Have a beautiful weekend Michelle.

I am grateful for forgiveness and for the avalanche of second chances that are possible in a family when we come to each other open-handed and humble.
