:: noticing the moments ::

taking some time to reflect upon my week…

500love

:: while i had every intention of  making handmade valentines with the kids, it didn’t happen.  thankfully the lovely folks at papercoterie had fun and free love notes that i downloaded and printed out.  have a look!  they would be really fun any day of the year.  i’ve tucked our leftovers into my desk drawer for future love bombs.  and do smile…because you are loved

:: twice this week my son stepped in to help his younger sister, once with violin instruction and once with a math trick…it makes my heart so full to see him reach out like this, to step into role as mentor

:: the only thing better than pulling out a favorite recipe is pulling out a favorite recipe from a favorite person…for valentine’s day breakfast we made heart-shaped pancakes with this recipe…hands down favorite

500pancakes

:: meeting a friend for a restaurant date…good food, good conversation

:: i’ve set myself a goal/challenge {not a resolution} to write one poem every day this year…feeling good that i’m going strong…well, at least going {today’s will be #46}

:: sushi…enough said

:: last week, i sheepishly admitted the messy state of my desk {photographic evidence in this post…i’ve been working on it!

  1. what is it about sushi that makes me so happy? and good for you for your poem everyday!! I love lemons, but it’s only been recently that my love for them has blossomed. Lemon pancakes sound wonderful!! Bookmarked! Hope you are having a great weekend.
    xo

  2. my week was busy and happy and productive and tiring – and topped off with a blissful massage this morning. yay. michelle, i love your posts so much x

  3. Lemon pancakes? Oh yes, I am thinking they will make a great Easter breakfast.

    I think sibling bonds are the best, my sisters are my best friends and all of my children talk to each other everyday…I am so happy for that.
