gratitude week :: day 1

november 11, 2013
i am grateful.

500gratitude1.2013

:: flowers…which speak to me of freshness and beauty and cycles and joy

:: my husband’s passion for running and his sharing of this passion with our children

:: tender explorations…the kids gathering seeds of all kinds lately, planting a few in pots, hoping to grow bonsai plants…loving that the fire was ignited while visiting grandparents

:: the slowness and the intention which come with baking…the way it brings me back to center…the way it treats so many of my senses

tell me…what fills your heart with gratitude today?

sending a little love your way, m

  1. I’m also so happy to join you via my blog and also to read your gratitude and others shared here. I really, really love how you are sharing in fours. I love how your gratitude is found in the very daily things in our life.

  2. I’m grateful for so many things. Thank you Michelle for setting the intention to help us think about what is important. On this day, I am most grateful for all our veterans. May each and everyone be honored and safe.

  3. thank you for the nudge, Michelle! I’m going to join you in spirit, and I’m also thrilled that this weekend, I’ll be traveling to MI for a weekend away with friends. Very grateful for that, and a wonderful way to end this week.

    love and light to you,
    Julie

  4. today I am feeling ill and grateful that because of the holiday, I am off work and can stay home, that there is homemade soup to be thawed and heated and I have five episodes of Masterpiece Classic on the DVR…
