:: noticing the moments ::

taking some time to reflect upon my week…

500chai

:: homemade chai…it’s worth the bit of effort, i promise…try this recipe {substitute rooibos if you’d like caffeine free}

:: painting with the kids…it’s been so long since we’ve had a proper art date

:: red grapefruit…can’t be beat on a winter’s morning

Processed with VSCOcam with t3 preset

:: allowing things that need to be to just be…so much easier to flow than to fight

:: bitter cold…although the forecast for today is a balmy 47 degrees fahrenheit!

:: the late afternoon light…amazing…gets me every.single.day

500dishes

so tell me, how was your week?

sending a little love your way, m

  1. I am loving the afternoon light in our front room returning a little bit each day and the after dinner walks, we eat early so that helps! Hope you have a good weekend :)

  2. I agree wholeheartedly with the red grapefruit and afternoon light – your photograph there is simply beautiful – an everyday moment lovingly captured. Though reading from my laptop screen is not the most pleasant, I always read and re-read your posts for the quiet wisdom you share. Love to you too.

  3. you always remind me… there is something about the practice of writing down these moments that make them sacred. i won’t be joining you this time, michele…. even though i know some of the nowyou gals will be. i’ve got too much going on at the moment. maybe the next time?! xo
