Taking some time to reflect upon my week…
:: freshly baked bread…I’m sure I’ve written about this before, but really and truly, it brings me back to center…each and every time
:: time spent with friends
:: hot water with lemon most mornings…lemon and words are a combination that’s working for me lately
:: also working for me: just-out-of-bed breathing meditation + a few sun salutes
:: bedtime reading with the kids
:: the tulips are here!!!
:: walks with the pup
:: music…listening lots to Indie Folk Revival on Pandora {thanks Laura}
:: agreeing to milkshakes yesterday afternoon…delighting the kids who were sure I’d say no
:: breakfast for dinner
I’m hoping you’ve enjoyed some good moments in your week too. And for the difficult moments {because we all have them}, I sit here in witness of them and of you.
Sending a little love your way, m
Your posts are always so positive and uplifting. You make me feel a little guilty for my spur of the moment facebook posts and negative moments. Thanks for reminding of the more important things. :)
oh, no guilt!!!! spur-of-the-moment has its place too…as do the negative moments. all part of our process. xo
Yes to fresh bread, friends, tulips and all your wonderful moments this week Michelle! I hope your weekend is proving to be just as lovely xx
Beautiful moments, Michelle, I love it when you share them with us! It reminds me to practice gratitude daily for the grace of my own small moments. (I’m a hot water with lemon drinker, also!)
I swear-I can smell the bread (big puffy heart) and really…I loved it when my mom cooked breakfast for dinner. Thanks for the memories Michelle.
You’re such a loving person, I am so glad that I found you and your sweet little corner of the Interwebs. Soooo addicted to Indie Folk Revival it’s not even funny. Have a lovely weekend.
Thank you – for the inspiration to make bread again…it’s been a while…look forward to a photo post :)
Thank you for your lovely words…you have just made my morning, again :)
All so good… xox
You are such a good Mom! All of your moments are lovely. Thanks for sharing, M. xo
I love breakfast for dinner, it’s so fun and I’m glad to hear you said yes to milkshakes :)
I have been starting my day with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon mixed in warm water, I’ve only been doing it for a week and I haven’t checked my glucose level yet, but it’s suppose to keep it level throughout the day, we’ll see.
Enjoy a great weekend.
I’m gonna have to try the bread baking when I need centered. Although I think knitting does that for me :) Lovely moments for the week, Michelle, have a wonderful weekend!!
“I sit here in witness of them and of you.” Oh. Michelle. Thank you.
