Some random things.
Our Christmas decorations have come down (well, except the tree…insert emoji with big, wide eyes). But, even once the tree comes down, we always keep a few strings of twinkle lights up year round. Because twinkle lights. So of course I liked this.
We’re writing thank you notes this week. You might remember how I feel about that. Love this reminder.
I treated myself to this beauty. Because Mary Oliver.
Do you feel the weight of an invisible workload? I know I do. Read this. And because there are two sides to every coin, read this too.
These are (three) good questions.
If you’re able to listen to a podcast now and then, this is such a good one…with Sharon Salzburg and Robert Thurman. I listened to it a couple weeks ago and it’s still on my mind.
I already knew of Jason Silva because my kids watch Brain Games. After watching this video, I think I have an official crush on him. It’s really beautiful.
And because my daughter and I love pompoms (you too?), I wanted to share a new (to us) kind of pompom maker. We have others, but my daughter is really enjoying the kits she got for Christmas. This one and this one for mini.
Enjoy the clicks…and
Sending a little love your way, m

Do you feel the weight of an to invisible workload? Oh my goodness, yes! Great post Michelle and some fantastic links. Thank you and have a good weekend xx oh, and happy new year!
Love those pom poms, Michelle! They remind me of the ones I would see hanging from the trees at Squam. :) I love Upstream…actually anything and everything Mary Oliver, and am glad to see I’m not the only one who loves the dying art of gratitude via snail mail. Watched Jason Silva and officially have a crush on him, maybe we should start a fan club? :D Thanks for such excellent suggestions! xx
I enjoy these notes from you – like a conversation between two friends sharing things they’ve found that might help and inspire each other. Where one good thing leads to another – I’ll listen to the podcast, and check Mary Oliver out from the library and send a few thank you notes, too.
ah, donna…that’s exactly how I’d like for them to feel!
thank you for letting me know that’s how it is for you.
enjoy…and smiling at the thank you notes :)
