A quiet journaling series.
I’m taking inspiration from my summer journaling series on this autumn day. Because sometimes a tiny bit of quiet is just the ticket. Here’s a quote + journaling prompts for you…
We cling to our own point of view, as though everything depended on it.
Yet our opinions have no permanence; like autumn and winter, they gradually pass away.
~ Zhuangzi ~
Is there anything you are currently clinging to…a point of view, an opinion, a habit, a person?
(clinging entails holding too tightly, gripping…there is a sense of tension, maybe even desperation)
(not-clinging means there is lightness, ease…there is acceptance, a gentle distance or healthy boundary)
What’s the story behind your clinging? Are you scared, are you worried, are you intimidated, are you embarrassed?
It’s okay.
It’s okay to let go.
What would happen if you let go? Imagine three possible scenarios. Write them down.
Sending a little love your way, m
