Where Is The Love?

I was searching lyrics the other day, looking for inspiration.  I landed on Where Is The Love? by Black Eyed Peas.

 

Can you practice what you preach?  And would you turn the other cheek?

 

I listened on repeat.  I copied lines into one journal. Printed/cut/pasted lines into another.

 

Man, you gotta have love just to set it straight
Take control of your mind and meditate
Let your soul gravitate to the love, y’all, y’all

 

This song was released in 2003.  It’s as powerful in 2020.

 

Lack of understanding leads us away from unity

 

It’s been a hard year for all of us.
It’s been a hard life for too many of us.

We can do better, can work with our minds (and hearts), can gravitate to what (and who) is good, can move toward unity.

We have choices to make.
Let’s choose wisely.
