I think a lot about the heart these days. Not the physical heart which pumps
blood but the energetic heart which holds love. The heart which opens (or
closes) to life. The heart which struggles to stay open to the business person
not doing business well. The heart which struggles to stay open to the pained
experience of another when full with its own experience. The heart which,
nevertheless, stays open to the reality of another’s cramped shoes. The heart
which, nevertheless, stays open to the storyline of another. The heart which,
nevertheless, strengthens with practice and stays open (instead of closing).
Can I tell you a story? I got a new pair of shoes last week but I remember
what it is to be cramped. Remember, little heart. Always remember.

I love new shoes but not the wearing in! I’m propping my heart open with a stick of love XX
I know…the wearing in is never fun!
I love what you wrote, Jane…propping your heart open with a stick of love. ❤️
