a science lesson

a science lesson

Science 101, diffusion:  the movement of particles from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration, equalizing the pressure.  In other words, letting go. The coupons, the takeout soy sauce packets, the books, the clothes no longer worn.  The beliefs not yours, the answers not serving, the self-doubt, the expectations, the worries.  Try an experiment:  higher to lower, more to less, equalize the pressure.  Diffuse. Let go.  Science 101, for the heart.

This is one writing practice of mine, these lines. Another is working (playing) with meditation and self-inquiry journaling. My lines and self-inquiry inform all of the writing that I do (inform me). Maybe you’d like to create a writing practice too…

If you’d like to join us for a bit of meditation and writing, I have 2 spots left in next week’s Fall Equinox session of The Quiet Page. You can read more about this gathering and sign up right here. We’ll be meeting Wednesday, September 22.

This workshop is now full.
If you’d like to join us next month, sign up for my Monthly Notes to be among the first to know date + time of our gathering in October + you’ll receive a discount link.

Thanks for being here in this space with me. Sharing my words is made richer by your presence. Truly.

sending a little love your way, m
